Recently the Dole Company decided that they are going to publish what they call Caribbean Jerk Styled Chicken. Dole needs to understand that their products are sold all over the world and that people from the Caribbean would not take lightly to their National and Signature dishes being bastardized to this extent. They should really have a Caribbean food Consultant on hand to avoid a PR disaster that is certainly brewing with the call to boycott their products.
Then to add insult to injury, the Knorr Food Company teamed up with British Celebrity Chef Marco Pierre who had the temerity to attempt, and yes I said “attempt” to make what he called Jamaican Rice and Peas.
